Episode by episode

A tape measure in Emily's hand sends her off to the kitchen as soon as the viewing begins. She and Ben, married for two years, are touring what they hope will be their first house, and Emily is already sure. While his wife measures, the realtor leads Ben up to see the bedrooms. She is direct about letting him look. Emily wants the biggest bedroom. Ben wants the house. The realtor wants something else from him, and the main bedroom has a door that locks.

    Emily declares this is the house and goes to take kitchen measurements. The agent leads Ben upstairs and points out big windows, plenty of light and a lock on the door. She wants to know the length of the marriage and whether the honeymoon is over. Then she invites him to try the bed.

    Episode 2: Just checking the lock

    Emily finds the bedroom door locked and asks why; the realtor says she is testing it. Ben goes downstairs with the realtor to see the kitchen while Emily stays above to imagine their furniture. Ben cannot believe it is happening. The realtor points out that his wife is upstairs, not down here, and tells him to be quick.
