A packed suit bag is the only warning the new hire gets. Gia, his boss and a married executive, was meant to bring her husband to close the biggest deal of the year, but the client Richard signs only with people who arrive with a spouse. Her husband backs out and tells her to take someone. She picks the new man, a grown professional in his twenties, and gives him three days to pass as her husband. His own partner thinks the boss is merely strict.

    Gia hands the new hire his assignment with almost no explanation. On the phone, his partner asks whether the boss is being kind, and he describes her as professional. At the first meeting he starts to correct the client and Gia cuts him off. A toast to the happy couple follows, then a private moment where she reminds him whose husband he is.
