Episode by episode

A knock at the door and a garment bag announce the maid of honor. Selena wants her best friend and her fiance to get along before the wedding, and asks Nick to be nice. The friend has watched Selena choose Nick for years and has a toast ready in which most lines praise the bride and one insults the groom. Nick wants peace for the week. The friend says she wants proof he deserves Selena, though her questions about him suggest more.

    The maid of honor moves in and spills water on Nick almost at once. Left alone while Selena handles the florist, she reads him her toast. Nick points out she asks about him constantly, and she insists she only doubts he is worthy. She sets a test: tomorrow, while Selena works at the venue, he comes at noon to help with her dress.
