Episode by episode

A shared bathroom between two bedrooms frames the week. The stepson, a grown man, arrives home a day earlier than planned and learns his father has left on a work trip and returns Thursday. His stepmother has put him in the room across from hers and tells him to knock before using the bathroom. She remembers how he used to blush and flee when she caught him looking. He wants to stay respectful. She wants to stop pretending.
