A '69 Camaro rolls into the garage with the show only days off, belonging to Brody, the stepsister's boyfriend. Three other shops failed to fix it. The mechanic, her new stepbrother, is known in the family for fixing anything for relatives, and her mother sent her to him. Brody distrusts him by phone and calls him names. The stepsister wants the car ready and has noticed the mechanic's hands. Both she and the car are gone by Sunday.

    The stepsister arrives with the car and teases the mechanic about his tools. Brody calls and warns her not to let him touch anything. The engine starts on the first try after the fix, and she wonders aloud where else those hands might be useful. She suggests the interior next, then sets the time for tomorrow morning.

    She returns the next morning and complains that he kept her waiting. Brody calls again, asking whether the mechanic has broken the car, and she tells him it is running smoothly while she checks the interior.
