The Nun in Our Guest Room

A travel bag goes up the stairs to the first room on the left, carried by the son of the house for their guest. Veronica has offered the room until Sunday to a nun known as Sister Dark Angel, who takes her vows when the week ends. The son, an adult who lives at home, finds her nothing like what he pictured. She has a plan for the days she has left: to try what her vows will close off before Sunday arrives.

   Episode 1: Grace before bedtime

   A greeting at the door falls to the son, who carries the sister's bag to her room. She compares him favorably with the men of her parish and savors her first taste of the food. She then leads a prayer for gentle hands and asks forgiveness in advance for whatever happens that night, which leaves him unsettled.

   Episode 2: What Sunday means

   The next morning she tells him she knows he was watching her the night before. Veronica offers her son's help with whatever the sister requires. Alone with him, the nun explains Sunday: once she takes her vows, every untried thing is closed to her for good. She says this is what she was praying about.
