Episode by episode

A loudspeaker announces the rules: players who reach the gate get out alive, and any hunter caught helping one shares that player's fate. Eli is a player and a doctor, already running. Delilah Kane is a hunter with a weapon trained on his back and an injury of her own. The game is watching both of them. Eli wants to survive and cannot ignore a wound. Delilah wants to obey and stay alive, and every second she hesitates is counted by someone else.

Episode 1: Five seconds to run
Delilah forces Eli to his knees and notices he is not the only one hurt; she is bleeding. He offers a trade: he treats her arm and she lets him go. She agrees to give him five seconds. He binds the wound while she counts down. As he turns away, the voice over the speakers tells her to shoot.

Episode 2: He comes back
The order repeats while Delilah stands frozen. Eli, already at the gate, turns back after seeing another hunter aiming at her. She cannot believe he gave up the exit. The game then names her directly: five seconds to kill him or they both die. The countdown runs to one with Eli asking her to look at him.
