A plastic keycard slides into the lock of room 742 and the door opens on a man already sitting inside. The woman holding it has been traveling since five in the morning and has spent twelve hours in the same clothes. She calls the front desk and learns there is no other room available for now. The man barely reacts and gives no name. She wants a shower, a change of clothes and an explanation. He seems to want only to watch what she does next.

Episode 1: Someone in the room
The traveler checks the number twice, then phones the desk while staring at the stranger. Every other room is taken and no one can say for how long. Too tired to argue, she announces she is changing and asks him not to be strange about it. He stays quiet, and she calls out to ask whether he plans to just stand there.

Afterward she tells him the silence was odd and that he could have spoken. A phone call confirms they are stuck in the room together. She asks what he wants and what his name is. He gives her nothing, so she chooses a name for him herself, a teasing one, and keeps waiting for him to answer.
