A set of keys waits at the door of a beach rental, but the host will not hand them over until the guests are wet. Ryan has booked the house as a birthday present for Chloe, and he is stunned to find that the woman running it is Riley Reid. She reads out her rules: no photos, no shoes indoors, and all guests must use the outdoor shower. Chloe heads upstairs to dress for her birthday dinner. Ryan wants the weekend to go well; Riley wants to see how far he bends.

    Riley welcomes the couple with a soaking before the keys, then recites the house rules one by one. Chloe goes up to change and warns Ryan to behave. At the outdoor shower Riley joins him, unbothered that his girlfriend is right above them, and adds a fourth rule: no one rinses off alone.
