Episode by episode

A cup of morning coffee sits ready on the counter for Ren every day, and he never manages to thank Yama without blushing. He rents her the spare room and has fallen for her without saying a word. She seems close to saying something herself and keeps stopping. Mira, Yama's best friend, is loud, sure of her charm and fresh from a breakup with a man named Dorian. Ren wants a steady home and a chance with Yama. Mira wants a place to land.

  1. EP 1

    Episode 1: Coffee and toast

Breakfast shows how carefully Ren and Yama avoid the obvious. She catches him staring, he blames the toast, and both admit they are oddly good at sharing a home. Yama starts to confess something and drops it. Before either can try again, the doorbell brings Mira, suitcase in hand, announcing that the apartment has a third tenant.

  2. EP 2

    Episode 2: Three-way rent

Mira explains that Dorian threw her out. Ren hesitates, then confesses his job ended that very morning and his share of the rent is gone, so a three-way split saves the lease. Mira claims the best closet and the good shower within minutes. Spotting Yama's feelings, she proposes a contest for Ren, with one condition: he must never learn it is a game.
