Episode by episode

A brass bell on the front desk rings soon after midnight, and the hotel's new night manager realizes that room service is part of his job. The building is old and elegant, and the staff around him are all women. His colleague Sloane tells him to relax, since it is only his first night, then is called upstairs. He is left alone behind the desk. He wants to get through the shift. The guests have other plans.

Episode 1: Room 808
Sloane leaves him at the desk with simple instructions. Almost at once the phone rings with a request ordering the night's special to 808. He delivers a dessert plate to a guest who admits she rang for reasons other than appetite, and when he asks what she ordered, she makes clear that he is the order.

Episode 2: Dessert in bed
The guest in 808 notices how he is enjoying the new job and slips into something more comfortable, inviting him to join her. He hesitates, unable to believe his luck. She calls him closer by his title and tells him she wants a taste. The visit ends with the dessert plate untouched beside them.
