Episode by episode

A drink pushed toward Solene Yoon by a stranger at a resort bar is the first thing her new bodyguard stops. Solene is an adult woman from a wealthy family, spending time somewhere warm and expensive, and she hates being followed. Her father has hired a former soldier to go wherever she goes, and he has fired several guards before this one. The bodyguard intends to follow his contract and nothing beyond it. Solene wants him gone, or at least rattled.

    Episode 1: The lady said no

    Solene complains that her guard follows her everywhere, and he answers that this is the job. At the bar a man pushes her to drink and grabs her. The bodyguard steps in, sends him back, and ignores the threat of a call to her father. Afterward Solene asks whether he acted out of jealousy and tells him not to lie.

    Episode 2: An order to drink

    Her father checks in during a party, and Solene reports that the guard threw a man into the pool. The father refuses to replace him and says someone wants to hurt her. Left alone, Solene commands the bodyguard to share a drink, and he tries the strong liquor. A reminder from the father closes the episode: protect her, nothing more.
