Episode by episode

A handshake at the church door after Sunday service is where it begins. The priest is new to the town, still learning faces, still thanked for every sermon. Mika is an adult woman in the congregation who praises his words on resisting temptation with a little too much interest. He wants to keep his vows and the trust of the parish. She wants him to admit that he has noticed her, and she plans to use the confessional to say so first.

Episode 1: A confession about the priest

A brief flash shows the two of them together, then the story returns to the line of parishioners after Mass. Mika praises the sermon, singling out the part about temptation. Later she kneels in the confessional and admits to impure thoughts. The man those thoughts concern, she says, is the new priest sitting on the other side of the screen.
