Episode by episode

A bucket of soapy water splashes over the new tenant as he moves in next door to Courtney, the wife of his landlord, Jamie. The street is quiet and friendly, and the couple say they look after their own, especially the newcomers. The tenant sees Courtney as stuck in a dull marriage and feels sorry for her. He wants a fresh start. Courtney's narration suggests he has misread the situation entirely, and that he is the one who should worry.

    Jamie introduces himself as the landlord and Courtney as his wife. Courtney splashes the tenant while washing a car and apologizes with a smile. He thanks them and retreats.
